SPC Phillip Hawks, with the Army National Guard, spoke with Troop 715 during a recent Monday night meeting.
He shared with the Scouts the importance of completing their goal toward becoming an Eagle Scout.
Hawks, who is an Eagle Scout, talked about the memories he has from Scouting, and the opportunities it has given him. He encouraged each Scout to continue to do what is right even when it might not seem popular.
Hawks attributes many of the successes he has had in life, and in the military, to the preparation he received in Scouting.
