Growth & CR 100E

It concerns me that the city planners are considering closing CR 100E. It is apparent that Warsaw is quickly growing and a lot of the growth is on the north and east sides of Warsaw. In fact, in 50 years, Warsaw and Leesburg will probably be joined together with businesses. I question if the city planners have long-range plans for further growth around the city of Warsaw.

If the city planners have long range plans, it would be great if they shared them with the public. Would Warsaw be better served by an airport on the west or south side of Warsaw? I would think if an airport would be built west or south of Warsaw a few miles, many of the major industries would benefit.

Please envision 50 years ahead - would the present area still be the best use of the land for an airport? I can envision the present airport area being filled with stores, professional buildings and businesses, and if the area was planned correctly, it would be a win-win situation for the city of Warsaw. This area is prime real-estate.

In my opinion closing CR 100E or even making a underground tunnel for CR 100E would be a mistake. The large industries of Warsaw should not be pushing for the closing of 100 East and the city of Warsaw should not give in to their demands. Parker Street with the road widened, new curbs, and street light is beautiful but we really have a Parker Street-Dubois Street mess with traffic flow.

Let's think this one through and not make another mistake.
