Grose Among Hoosier Basketball Magazine's Top 60

Warsaw Community High School’s Nikki Grose has been selected as one of Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 60 senior girls basketball players for 2013-2014 season.
Having committed to play basketball at Indiana Tech, the 5-foot-11 Grose led the Warsaw Lady Tigers with 13.5 points and 7.4 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game.
Other invitees from the area include NorthWood’s Morgan Olson, Elkhart Memorial’s Khadijah Moore, West Noble’s Kelsie Peterson and Oregon-Davis’ Ashley Campbell.
The Top 60 Senior Girls Workout includes six of the state’s top scorers, led by Logansport’s Whitney Jennings (32 ppg), followed by Fort Wayne Canterbury’s Kindell Fincher (25.8), Speedway’s Allison Nash (24.9), Hamilton Heights’ Haley Cook (23.3), Owen Valley’s Alicia Wilson (22.9) Evansville Mater Dei’s and Maura Muensterman (22.7).
Also among the 2014 Top 60 selectees are the following five girls who will play at in-state Division I universities during the 2015-2016 season, including Homestead’s Sydney Buck (Butler), Columbus East’s Allison Bunch, (IPFW), Mt. Vernon’s Erica Moore (Purdue), Elkhart Memorial’s Khadijah Moore  (Ball State) and Muensterman, (Indiana).
Two sessions of the 33rd Annual Top 60 Senior Girls Workout will be hosted by Hoosier Basketball Magazine in conjunction with the IHSAA and the IBCA on March 16 on the campus of Marian University in Indianapolis.
Twenty-eight girls of the Top 60, primarily from northern and southern Indiana, will participate in the first session (1-3 p.m.). The remaining 32 girls of the Top 60, primarily from central Indiana, will compete during the second session (3:30-5:30 p.m.).
Four-time state championship coach Rick Risinger (Heritage Christian) will direct both sessions.
Four other Indiana girls’ high school coaches from the IBCA will join him on the 2014 Top 60 staff — Bob Angela (Pike), Scott Fernung (Hamilton Heights), Terry Minix (Oregon-Davis) and Missy Voyles (North Harrison).
Both sessions are open to the public for an admission fee of $7.
