BOURBON – Gregory R. Wallace, age 57, of Etna Green, passed away at 3:40 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
Greg was born the son of William and Joan King Wallace on March 20, 1963, in Wabash and was a 1981 graduate of Wabash High School. He has been a resident of the Bourbon and Etna Green area most of his life. He became a machinist working for Zimmer Biomet, Bremen Casting and his favorite job was at Honeywell in the Aerospace division. In his free time, he enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycles, anything with racing, word games and especially spending time with his family and grandkids.
On Oct. 3, 2016, Greg married Annette Read, who survives along with his children: Brittany (Andrew) Brost, of Apollo Beach, Fla.; Nichole (Shane) Rolston, of New Paris; Heather (Paul) Eastwood, of Syracuse; and Justin (Siera) Wallace, of Warsaw; and Colt Condon, of Bourbon; and their mother, Rachel and LeeRoy Bennett, of Argos. His stepchildren include Maddison (Kyle) Emigh, Sheldon Rolston, Jaxon Rolston and Cheyann Rolston; along with seven grandchildren: Joseph, Isabella, Brooklynn, Cameron, Cooper, Paul and Lucas; and Greg’s father, William Wallace, of Mississippi. Additional family is a sister, Shelley Fitzpatrick, of Wabash; and brother, William Wallace, of Biloxi, Miss.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan.
A graveside service will be Saturday, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m. in the Speicher Cemetery, Urbana, Ind., with Pastor Ed Read officiating.
