NORTH MANCHESTER – Gregory Leffler “Leff” Hicks, 73, North Manchester, died July 26, 2026, at Peabody Retirement Community.
He was born Oct. 15, 1952, in Marion, to Thomas Lloyd and Mary Elizabeth Leffler Hicks.
He joined the U.S. Navy in 1972. He served as a FTC3 on the Destroyer Escort, U.S.S. Davidson. He was honorably discharged from the military in 1975.
He married Suzanna Bellamy Hicks, who survives.
Family and friends may call Thursday, July 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 31 at 1 p.m. with calling beginning at noon at the First Brethren Church, North Manchester, with Pastor Ron Burns and Pastor Kurt Stout officiating. Burial will be at Marion National Cemetery on Monday, Aug. 3 at 11 a.m.
