Gregory “Greg” “Grouchy Greg” Allan Shafer, 59, Claypool, died Friday, April 24, 2026, in the care of Tobey Hospital in Wareham, Mass.
He was born on Dec. 19, 1966, in Warsaw, to Linda Lyons Shafer and Benjamin Robert Shafer.
Greg married Claudia Campbell on Aug. 27, 2016; she survives.
Family and friends may visit from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw. Greg’s life will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 30 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home and officiated by JC Sparks. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
