Gregory ‘Greg’ Earl EvansGregory “Greg” Earl Evans, 69, Warsaw, died at 9:59 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center of Fort Wayne.
He was born July 21, 1952, in Warsaw, to Earl Leroy Evans and Betty J. Galbreath Evans. Greg was a 1972 graduate of Whitko High School, South Whitley. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on Sept. 11, 1972, and served until his honorable discharge Sept. 10, 1974.
On Aug. 19, 2011, he was married to Lana Kay Leek O’Connell Evans, who survives in Warsaw.
Greg’s life will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and officiated by Envoy Ken Locke of the Salvation Army. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #49, V.F.W. #1126, both of Warsaw, and active duty members of the Army Honor Guard.
