Gregory D. Johnson, 57, of Warsaw, died March 1, 2011, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Sept. 2, 1953, in Huntington, to David Ralph "Boag" Sr. and Mary Ellen Robinson Johnson.
A lifetime Warsaw resident, he was a construction and cement finisher for many years.
Surviving are a son, Wesley C. Johnson, Warsaw; his mother, Mary Ellen Johnson, Warsaw; three sisters: Jorie (and spouse James) Webster, Warsaw; Kristine (and spouse Larry) Ummel, Kimmell; and Leslie (and spouse Ray) Barna, Vandalia, Mich. He was preceded in death by his father, David "Boag" Johnson Sr., who died July 11, 2005; and a brother, David R. Johnson Jr., who died Jan. 18, 1969.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Mike Beezley of Clunette United Methodist Church.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
