State and local officials will host a meeting Thursday for those interested in environmentally friendly lawn care.
The meeting is set for 9:30 a.m. at 255 West Gilliam Lane, west of Ind. 15 on Warsaw's north side.
The meeting will include representatives of the Purdue Extension office who work with water quality issues. Also attending will be Kosciusko County chief sanitarian Jon Cupp, who will discuss the county's well ordinance.
Other issues to be cover are fall fertilizing, maintenance, pest management and lawn renovation.
The event is sponsored by the Upper Tippecanoe Water Quality Project.
