Editor, Times-Union: The great Warsaw debate is now history. A strange sort of non-debate with one or two people choosing the questions and no one in the audience allowed to stand and ask anything. The only passion I detected from the candidates was when they gave the stats on their wives and kids. Like that has anything to do with the subject at hand. Almost all the issues raised are beyond the candidates expertise to solve without the courts or a federal agency jumping into the act. The game goes like this: The feds and their allied bankers, etc., first rob the citizens and blow the money mostly on insane wars. And the sheeple dutifully follow right along. The state then robs the counties and the counties rob the towns or something like that. Welcome to serfdom. George Washington said, “Dump the political parties, kids, or they will destory you.” And that's what has happened. It’s finally boiled down to Fox TV vs. MSNBC. Let the games continue. It’s now a George Carlin script. Tom Metzger Warsaw, via email
