Ms. Hamman’s second-grade class at Pierceton Elementary recently received approximately 200 new books for the classroom. Hamman wrote a grant on the website donorschoose.org for high-interest books for lower-level readers. Her grant was funded by community members and strangers who frequent the website to donate money to classrooms in need.
