The deadline for grant applications to the Kosciusko REMC Operation Round Up Fund held at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation is Dec. 15. Not-for-profit organizations serving Kosciusko County residents served by REMC are encouraged to apply.
The fund is one of several advised funds held at the Community Foundation, and it illustrates how everyday citizens can make a big difference when they combine resources. Kosciusko REMC allows its members to "round up" their electric bills to the nearest whole dollar. The extra cents are deposited into the fund held at the Community Foundation.
