WINONA LAKE – Grace Village Retirement Community is inviting the public to an open house celebrating its 40th anniversary. The open house will offer tours of different living options at Grace Village, including Robin Hood condos, independent living, assisted living and health care. Join them Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for free refreshments, live music and information about the options at Grace Village, 337 Grace Village Drive, Winona Lake. Grace Village welcomed its first residents in 1974. Over the past 40 years, it expanded to offer a variety of living arrangements, dining services, activities, rehabilitation services and long-term health care. The campus consists of 58 Robin Hood condos, 117 independent living apartments and 52 assisted living studios and suites. Grace Village provides both intermediate and skilled nursing care, and has 12 private rehabilitation suites. Currently, Grace Village is home to approximately 300 individuals ages 55 and older. Grace Village is proud to be the only not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Kosciusko County, according to the open house announcement. Its mission is to enable mature adults to live to their fullest potential in the security of a Christian environment.
