The Lancers host seventh-seeded Marian tonight at 7 p.m. in the first round of the Crossroads League Tournament. With a victory, Grace will host a semifinal Saturday against the winner of tonight’s game between Bethel and St. Francis. Grace is hoping to qualify for its fifth trip in six years to the NAIA National Tournament. For the women’s basketball team, Juaneice Jackson capped off a breakout junior campaign by being named First Team All-Crossroads League, and Allison Kauffman picked up her first league honor when she was named honorable mention. On Feb. 9 Jackson broke Grace’s women’s basketball record for most points scored in a season with a handful of contests remaining in the 2012-13 season. Her career total of 1,161 points currently ranks her eighth in Lady Lancer history. Jackson ripped off 37 points against Taylor on Jan. 8, which is the most points a Crossroads League player has scored in a game since 2006. Kauffman, a sophomore forward, averaged 12.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game during the regular season.
