Grace Chooses Carlson As Women's Coach

WINONA LAKE -ÊGrace College has named Steve Carlson as its new women's basketball coach.

Carlson replaces Lori Wynn, who resigned after two years at Grace.

Carlson was Wynn's assistant the last two years. He played basketball at Grove City College, graduating from there in 1990 with a degree in psychology and communications.

All five starters return from last year's 9-21 team. The Lancers were 5-23 under Wynn two years ago.

"This move will help the program to continue to move forward instead of a feeling of starting over," Carlson said. "I know what we are able to do and the ability of our players."

Carlson is the Director of Career Services at Grace. He is married to Amy, and the couple have two children, Grant, 5, and Jodie, 4.
