Govt. Waste

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:
We the people are again hearing a familiar sound: waste, fraud and abuse, as of those without constraint, at taxpayers’ expense, with plenty of noise and confusion; again, a wakeup call to those who wish to abdicate their public duty and use we the people’s money, that which rightfully does not belong to them. Of course, this cabbage is our money. It’s no time for we the people to abandon a sinking ship of frustration. Remember the physically blind know what’s going on. Our deaf citizens communicate by signs made with their own fingers, known as dactylology. They, too, are part of we the people and don’t want public money wasted. We the people are reciprocal to each other and are all ears to scandals.

A cure is a medical fable to moral principles. We the people hear gabble, meaningless sound, but oh there is at times discovery; it’s called speaking out. And don’t forget the whistleblowers who might lose their jobs, doing so to make this a better country. We the people are the architectures of aesthetic effect to prevent the downward slope of waste of public funds.

Government should offer the bright side, of things to come. We the people are looking both ways in our mental disposition of habits of spending, just as we look both ways before crossing the street. It starts with we the people in communication with government to uphold our value system; otherwise it becomes jabberwocky, which means a language of meaningless. Our label is called a democracy, a historical privilege of trademark of proportional values.

How does we the people describe Machiavellian astuteness? “Political expediency is placed above morality and the use of craft and deceit to maintain authority to carry on policies; techniques of political manipulation.” Waste, fraud and abuse nags our irritating weariness.

Do we the people rest on ones oars, or do we seek a more descent forward movement? As a country the USA moves backward on waste, fraud and abuse.

A government oath is to promise as a statement of strength, by the participants to serve our country, not blasphemous. An oath is a statement or promise to serve our country with dignity and no abuse of funds. A quadrennial government election should not have a quagmire, that yields waste, fraud and abuse.

Sacred trust serves a sacred memory of human sacrifice for our very freedoms ministers of faith say the human body is to become a tabernacle as a temporary abode for the soul to serve ultimate principles knowing that this bequeaths ultimate consequences; but also keeping in mind this serves as our ultimate strength.

It bears remembering we the people were once umbilical cords from our mother’s womb, serving today in a communication system for the future. It’s very important to remember that at this time of our birth, we the people were not vacant of human sympathy with a waitful cry.

So we the people are up to our waist in stories of wasted money by government, with no checks and balances to correct the errors. The senate hearing will come about. So what’s next? The outcome deserves a wake up call and we the people deserve to know all about the investigations, that is followed in the wake of the scandals. Corrected prevention deserves corrected procedures. Where did the wasted money flow? Yes, we the people are wailing in pain with bitter disappointment.

Waft the proper sounds to our ears
As the world wags how it wills
When voting time comes again
We the people vote
Freedom’s bell rings again
