Government revamp meetings scheduled: Gov. Daniels and Mysmartgov.com have set up meetings through out the state. They are trying to get supporters to help them restructure our local government with the Kernan-Shepard Commission Report.

We have to continue our fight to stop them. The Indiana Township Association is organizing a committee to set up meetings throughout the state also. Our meetings, you won't have to submit your questions ahead of time and they won't be invitation only.
Governor Daniels and the legislators should be more concerned with our economy and finding jobs, not restructuring our local government. This is not the time to be putting more tax on the people for forming countywide public safety and countywide library services. Don't let them take away your right to vote for county officials by appointing them. We don't want one county executive. Save township government. We want our local volunteer fire departments to stay township operated.
