Gossamer Launches Summer Line

Posted
COLUMBIA CITY – Whitley County-based women's clothing company Gossamer Threads unveiled its summer line Thursday at Peabody Public Library with the Gossamer Threads Summer Launch Party.
Locally owned, designed and handcrafted, the line features pieces for women of all shapes and sizes in appealing summer shades with pieces that can be mixed and matched, according to information from the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce.
The Gossamer Threads summer collection features versatile, wearable pieces appropriate for the office and for casual settings. For more than three years, owner Nina Newton has built a reputation for quality made, beautiful clothing that is easy to wear. The online business specializes in creatively designed, custom crafted clothing for hard-to-fit sizes in cuts that are flattering to the measurements of each unique customer, according to the chamber.
"No matter your age, height or dress size, every woman is uniquely beautiful," Newton is quoted as saying. The company's focus is discovering the beauty in every woman.
Several pieces in the 2015 summer collection were designed by area resident Jennifer Zartman Romano, including two jackets, two dresses, a tunic and capri pants. Laura Richcreek and Christie Browning participated in the launch as well.
Gossamer Threads is a division of Rising River Designs and is a member of the Whitley Chamber.
