Rocky Goshert is a proven leader — the perfect fit for finishing out the sheriff's term.
Rocky has had eight years of experience as sheriff where he demonstrated his honesty, loyalty and good judgment. Rocky has spent a lifetime in Kosciusko County growing up, raising a family and devoting his career to law enforcement in a community he cares about.
He has served us well as an Indiana state trooper for 20 years, worked in the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office for 16 years and also as sheriff for eight years. Rocky's college education at Hanover with a business degree and his 30-plus years of law enforcement experience make him the most qualified candidate to fill this position.
In this position, you really need experience in putting together a budget, managing a jail, a work-release program and the sheriff personnel staff involving over 500 individuals. This is the biggest budget in Kosciusko County.
If you know Rocky, you know he is not a politician or yes-guy. He does things because he knows it is the right thing to do! The person he is and his community involvement demonstrate his devotion to family, faith and community.
It is important to make known your support to your county precinct representative who you want to fill the remaining term of sheriff for Kosciusko County.
