Goshen Gets Grace

Despite 18 points from Allison Davis, the Grace College Lady Lancers fell to Goshen 63-51 on Wednesday.

Three consecutive baskets by Kristi Keilman with four minutes to play in the first half brought Grace to within one point at 19-18. But the Lancers scored just three more points the rest of the half and trailed 27-21 at the break.

Keilman scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds for Grace while Carolyn Scott had 13 rebounds for the Lancers.

Grace (3-15) will play at St. Francis on Saturday at 1 p.m.

At Defiance, Ohio, the Manchester College women's team struggled on Wednesday, losing to Defiance.

Jaime Wilson scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds while Pam Eckart scored 13 points and tore down eight rebounds. Manchester had 29 turnovers in the game.

Manchester (8-6) will host Rose-Hulman on Saturday at 7 p.m.

At North Manchester, #Rose-Hulman's Jason Kaiser hit a running jumper from 10 feet away allowing visiting Rose-Hulman to come from 14 points down to beat Manchester 66-64 on Wednesday.

Manchester led 52-38 with 10:07 to play before Rose-Hulman's Bryan Egli took over, scoring 19 of his game-high 28 points down the stretch.

Manchester (9-6, 1-3) will be at DePauw at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
