GOSHEN - Goshen College recently recognized 227 students, including five Kosciusko County students, for excellence in academics, on the 2007-08 fall semester Dean's List.
Damien Carboneau, Warsaw, is studying in the organizational leadership program in the Division of Adult and External Studies at Goshen College.
Lynne Christiansen, Warsaw, is studying in the organizational leadership program in the Division of Adult and External Studies at Goshen College.
Melissa A. Frederick, Warsaw, is a junior studying English at Goshen College. She is a 1997 graduate of Lakeland Christian Academy.
Vondria L. Netzley, Warsaw, is a sophomore studying social work at Goshen College. She is a 1993 graduate of Warsaw Community High School.
Sheena S. Whetstone, daughter of Jesse and Kathy Allen, Milford, is a junior studying accounting at Goshen College. She is a 2005 graduate of Fairfield Junior-Senior High School.
The Dean's List includes students earning at least a 3.75 grade point average while completing at least 12 hours of course work for a letter grade. Only grades from the designated semester are included in the Dean's List selection process.
Students earning at least a 3.6 gpa (on a 4.0 scale) in Goshen College Division of Adult and External Studies also are included in the list - a significant achievement since most DAES students are working adults taking highly personalized night classes.
