SYRACUSE - Gordon L. "Gordy" Yeager, 56, of Topeka, died of an apparent heart attack Dec. 18, 2007, in Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville.
He was born Sept. 28, 1951, in Kendallville, to Herman and Alice Johnson Yeager.
Surviving are a son; a sister, Eileen (and spouse James) Gingerich, Syracuse; a brother; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Stones Hill Community Church, Ligonier, with Pastors Harold Gingerich and Joey Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Topeka.
Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at West Noble Middle School, Ligonier.
Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
