This past Saturday, hundreds of people filled the Center Lake park pavilion to listen to the debate between five U.S. Senate candidates, filling it to standing room only.

Unfortunately, due to fire control limits, hundreds were unable to go in. Those attending got to listen to the five individuals answer the questions and exchange banter. Too soon, the debate was over.

As good as the debate was, it was still, after all was said and done, a meeting with strict and necessary time limitations.

This coming Saturday, on March 13, the public is invited to attend a meet and greet with Senator Marlin Stutzman, one of the five candidates and winner of both the statewide and Kosciusko straw polls taken that day. This public event will offer quality time to talk with the Senator face to face. Come and mingle. Don't miss this opportunity to express your concerns to the candidate that wants to represent you in the Senate.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Once again, it will be held Saturday, March 13, from 3 to 5 p.m. in Warsaw's Hampton Inn, 115 Robmar Drive (next door to Beacon Credit Union on Center Street).

For more information on Marlin Stutzman, his background, and his stance on the issues, visit his Web site, www.gomarlin.com Then come on out and meet him in person.
