Goldie Lewallen, 72, Pierceton, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. in her residence.
She was born June 25, 1945, in Liberty Mills, to Jim and Leota Shephard Howard. On Dec. 12, 1963, in North Webster, she was united in marriage to Larry Lewallen Sr., who survives. She was a homemaker and member of Harvest Community Church, Pierceton.
She is survived by her husband and her children, Kim Lewallen and Larry Lewallen Jr., both of Columbia City. She also is survived by her siblings: Dale (Sue) Howard, Jacksonville, Fla.; Dallas (Carol) Howard, Liberty Mills; Carolyn (Ron) Isbell, North Manchester; Shirley (Sam) Simcoe, North Manchester; and Savanah Nelson, Warsaw; along with seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents and a sister, Janet Fisher.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Harvest Community Church in Pierceton.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 17, at 10 a.m. at Harvest Community Church in Pierceton with Pastor Glenn Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Servia.
