Goldie G. Pollock, 86, of Warsaw, passed away at 9:30 p.m.  March 14, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.

She was born Nov. 11, 1924, in Kittanning, Pa., to Emmett and Bessie Slonger McClure. On Dec. 22, 1967, in Fort Wayne, she married  Kenneth “Skip” Pollock, who died  in 1980.

She was a member of Warsaw Mennonite Church. She was a nurses’ aide and formerly worked at Alfran Nursing Home and Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.

Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth M. (and spouse Steve) Mast, North Webster, and Betty J. (and spouse Roger) Kern, Syracuse; a daughter-in-law, Jo Ellen (and spouse Jack) Ritzert, Ohio; a brother,  Clarence Bowser, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Virginia Morrison, Dorothy Brown and Betty Heilman, all of Pennsylvania; grandsons, Brian and Lester Mast, both  of North Webster; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She also was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Jack “Jackie” Ritzert and James “Jimmy” Ritzert; six sisters; a brother; a granddaughter; and two grandsons.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Casey Kern officiating.
Calling will be private.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
