Lakeland Christian Academy's new school now has walls and a roof. The interior walls are being erected and the school has electricity. The main goal for the winter is to get heat in the building so workers can work inside. More than 150-200 people and businesses have been involved in the project either by providing labor or materials as gifts or at cost. LCA has raised $1.7 million out of the projected $2.4 million needed. LCA officials hope to have the project completed by March or April 2000. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
