Harry and Carolyn Knauff, of the Ke Shook Co To Qua, Eastern Woodland Indian Living History Group, and Bernard and Carol Cook work on building an authentic Indian wigwam Tuesday in the "living history corner" at Harrison Elementary as a class watches. The idea for the wigwam originated last year with Harrison fourth-grade teacher Cindy Nash, and Harrison principal Randy Polston learned of the Knauffs through the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians in Michigan. Funding was raised through grants and private donations and through PTO donations from all the elementary schools in the Warsaw school district. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
