No injuries were reported when this car went off the road and got hung up on a guy wire. The driver, Jeff A. Warren, 32, of North CR 100E, Milford, told police that his flip-flop sandal got caught under the gas pedal, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. Warren, who reportedly had a blood-alcohol level of .18 percent, was charged with driving while intoxicated.
