During the month of May, the fourth-grade students at Sacred Heart School learned all about the free enterprise system by making and selling products made from paper. The students recorded their sales and profits on ledgers. As a conclusion to this unit, the fourth-grade students helped teach the first-grade students how to count money by selling their paper products to the first grade. Students had fun shopping with play money.
