I wish to call your attention to something very unusual, I think. That is the weather for the past summer here was, I think, unusually nice. When it rained, it came gently. No heavy thunder or lightning. We never lost our electricity for a very long time. Let's all be thankful to our God. He is the one who gives it to us. So please, thank and pray for him.
As you know, there has been heavy rains and tornadoes in other areas. Let's also pray and ask our God that we have a light winter. The Bible says, "Ask and ye shall receive. You have not because you ask not." Read Matthew 21:22.
After reading above to my son, he said, "What about those that have storms, etc.?" Well, his guess is as good as mine, but I live in a Christian retirement community. I think most all are Christians, about 300 residents plus employees. Maybe the Lord is trying to talk to them if they are not Christians. I feel very sorry for them.
