As I have said before, it is my opinion that we are living in a strange and unusual era. As I see it, war is bigger than just involving Iraq and Afghanistan.
A letter I received reads as follows:
"A general among high-level intelligence sources in Israel tells us that Ahmadinejad sent a coded alert to Hezbollah and Hamas, both proxies of Iran, to plan a summer surge of attacks against Israel. Al-Qaeda has also pledged to escalate attacks against the U.S. and Great Britain.
"This is a critical time; prayer is essential. It is the only effective tool the child of God possesses.
"Today, the battle is the Lord's. It can only be won through prayer and intercession. Just as God awoke the sleeping giant inside David, so He can awaken the sleeping prayer warriors in our churches across this nation."
May I urge you each day to thank our all-powerful God for peace in our country and for Him to continue to guard and protect it from the enemy? I think that it is extremely serious and important we do that.
