God's Hands

Being a Christian for over 25 years, I have had my ups and downs, as all believers do. I hope and pray that I will never forget what He has done for me and my family. My belief in God has never been stronger.

In April 2010, at age 74, my mom had a triple bypass. God guided the surgeon's hands for a successful surgery and she is doing well. Also, my wife had a stint put in her heart and my sister had a major surgery. Both women are fine, glory be to God!

Then, in January 2011, I underwent a quadruple bypass. God also guided my surgeon's hands for a successful surgery and I am continuing my recovery.

I am so thankful that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ saw fit for me to be here, to be able to see my first, beautiful granddaughter and her precious smile. Now birds seem to sing louder than before and it is such a blessing to see my family and friend's faces.

I, too, have prayed for my aunt, grandma and sister-in-law to live from a serious disease, but it did not happen. I may never know why, but I know that I will see them again someday at the great homecoming with my Lord. Please do not give up, because our Savior lives forever more.
