Gloria H. Falk

NORTH MANCHESTER – Gloria H. Falk, 88, Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, died at 9:28 a.m. Nov. 20, 2015. She was born Jan. 12, 1927, in Spring Valley, Ill., to Vincent and Helen Sharky Machek. On July 16, 1955, in DePue, Ill., she married Curtis E. Falk Sr., who died Jan. 6, 2008. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Roberts Catholic Church, North Manchester. She enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards and her dog, Nicki. Surviving are four children: Janet (and spouse Ken) Weaver, Fort Wayne; Judy (and spouse Kraig) Barker, Lagro; Curtis E. (and spouse Ginny) Falk, North Manchester; Mark (and spouse Kim) Falk, Warsaw; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister and a grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, North Manchester, with Father Andrew Curry officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester. Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
