Glogovsky Signs With Lipscomb University

Posted
Warsaw Tiger distance standout Owen Glogovsky signed a letter of intent to run both cross country and track for Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn.
Glogovsky led coach Jim Mills' cross country squad to the state finals twice as a team (freshman and sophomore year) and the senior qualified as an individual this fall. Glogovsky's efforts carried the Tigers to a final four finish in 2012, and a 12th-place finish in 2013.
During his track career, Glogovsky led Warsaw to three conference championships, three sectional titles, and two regional titles.  As a junior, Glogovsky was a state qualifier and sectional champion in the 1600, and he captured the conference title in both the 1600 and the 3200.
Enrolled in multiple advanced, honors, and dual-credit course offerings, Glogovsky has amassed a 13.0 Grade-Point Average (on 12-point scale) and ranks fifth in his class. These efforts have landed him honorable mention and Academic All-State accolades in both cross country and track.
Glogovsky is also active as National Honor Society president and a member of the Chinese Club, Philosophy Club, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He also volunteered at Kosciusko Community Hospital, the Elementary Mile, Blue Moon Distance Camp, Love in a Sweater Program, Feed My Starving Children, the Fall Festival planning, and assisted with the Optimist Club Triathlon.
Lipscomb is an NCAA Division I school in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
