NAPPANEE – Glennis Faye Brecheisen, 90, of 422 Maple Lane, Nappanee, died at 7 a.m. Sept 21, 2011, in her residence.
She was born Nov. 22, 1920, in Nappanee, to Noah and Mary Anglemyer Gingerich. On Jan. 27, 1945, in Nappanee, she married Dale Brecheisen, who died July 13, 2000.
A lifetime resident of Nappanee, she graduated from Nappanee High School in 1938 and attended Goshen College for a year. She formerly worked at Pletcher Furniture Village for three generations. She was a lifetime member of Nappanee Missionary Church, where she served in various positions, including church pianist for many years.
Surviving are two sons, Ted Brecheisen, Noblesville, and Phil (and spouse Karen) Brecheisen, Carmel; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Nappanee Missionary Church with Pastor Dave Engbecht officiating. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery, Nappanee.
Calling is from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
