MENTONE – Glenda L. Starner, 81, rural Claypool, died at 5:15 p.m. Jan. 31, 2016, at Mason Health Care, Warsaw. She was born March 7, 1934, in Wabash, to Roy and Katherine Perry Holle. On Sept. 8, 1951, she married Robert Starner, who preceded her in death Feb. 14, 2013. She had worked for Kimble Glass, Blue Bell’s and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are a daughter, Susan (and spouse Tim) Werstler, Pierceton; a son, David (and spouse Kris) Starner, Claypool; a sister, Connie Craig, Warsaw; five grandsons: Zachary, Jacob, Brodie Starner and Jason and Nathan Werstler; and a great-granddaughter, Adalyn Starner. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Starner, and three brothers, Archie, Jack and Harold Holle. Services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with Pastor Denny Bollenbacher officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Argos, at a later date.
