Petro’s GM Showplace is expected to announce next week that has been purchased by a group led by Doug McKibben, Fort Wayne.
McKibben, who also owns Glenbrook Dodge Chrysler Jeep and co-owns City Chevrolet with Jim Scarbeary in Columbia City, was contacted by the Times-Union this morning but didn’t return a message left for him.
Bob Petro, owner of Petro’s GM Showplace, declined comment on the deal but said “it would be made public knowledge Monday.”
The Times-Union learned that employees were notified of the deal Wednesday.
