A good, kind person, Gladys was a hard worker who worked at Warsaw Plating on the zinc line for nearly 30 years. She was a caring grandmother who had a good sense of humor and would joke with the best.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Powers Jr., Kalispell, Mont., and Robert “Porky” Powers, Warsaw; and five grandchildren: Angie Vanover, Akron; Josh Powers and Scott Powers, both of Warsaw; Shanda Archer, Sturgis, Mich.; and Travis Riley, Warsaw. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Connor and Barbara Waye.
In addition to her husband, Charles, she was preceded in death by her father and mother; her daughter, Lisa Powers; grandson, Timothy Robert Vanover; and sister, Mae Pressley.
Her family has chosen to celebrate Gladys’ life privately and has trusted Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw with her care. No services will be held.
