Gladys Mae Leeth, 95, of Warsaw, died at 8:54 a.m. May 29, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born April 26, 1916, in Terre Haute, to Walter and Lillian Eaton Whitaker. She married Richard L. Leeth, who died Oct. 23, 1989. She worked in data entry at First Wisconsin National Bank, Milwaukee, Wis. She was a 1934 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School, Indianapolis. She was a member of Elk Grove Village (Ill.) Baptist Church. She loved animals, especially her dog, Reggie. She loved to study, sing, flowers, shop, travel – especially to California, her church and church family. She was a woman of strong and determined demeanor and was very proud of her children. She always stressed the importance of education. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Surviving are four children: Phyllis Wilkey and Barbara Leeth, both of Warsaw; Michael (and spouse Suzette) Naperville, Ill.; and Patricia (and spouse John) Bretza, Santa Ana, Calif.; seven grandchildren: Cindy (and spouse Tony) Elliott and Kim Cretcher, all of Warsaw; Kristi (and spouse Diego) Escutia, Aliso Viejo, Calif; John (and spouse Michelle) Bretza, Santa Ana, Calif.; Scott Schultz, St. Charles, Mo.; Brad (and spouse Michelle) Schultz, White Water, Wis.; and Brian Leeth, Gainesville, Fla.; and seven great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Kay and Scott Craig Schultz, who died Dec. 22, 1995. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. (Central Time) Wednesday at Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin, Wis.
