A 16-year-old Warsaw girl reported being raped Sunday at a friend's residence in Pierceton.
The girl's mother filed a report at the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department Tuesday.
During an interview with detectives, the girl claimed she went to a friend's house in Pierceton around noon and began drinking alcoholic beverages. She stated to detectives that she became intoxicated and decided to go to sleep.
She stated she awoke upstairs, and when she went downstairs, her friend and another man named "Thomas" were laughing and stated that the girl engaged in sexual relations with "Thomas."
The girl said she didn't remember having sex with the man and never consented to it.
The girl was examined at Kosciusko Community Hospital and the incident remains under investigation at KCSD.
