The third child involved in the April 20 murder of Phillip Danner reached a plea deal in Kosciusko County Circuit Court Wednesday.
Paul Gingerich, 12, pleaded guilty to his involvement in the death of Danner.
Danner was killed by his stepson, Colt Lundy, and Gingerich while Chase Williams, 12, was an accomplice.
After Danner was murdered, the three boys took a car and later told police they were headed to Arizona but were detained in Illinois.
Williams was sentenced to six years in a juvenile detention for his role in the murder.
In August, Lundy pleaded guilty to murder and a month later was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
In Indiana, Lundy's sentence can be cut in half with good behavior and time served. He also can cut his sentence down by completing high school and college while in prison.
Gingerich received an additional charge of conspiracy to commit murder while murder charges will be dismissed under the plea agreement.
Judge Reed will issue Gingerich's sentence Jan. 4 at 1:30 p.m.
Gingerich could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.
Gingerich is currently being held in a special section at Kosciusko County Jail.
