The Kosciusko County Historical Society's Gingerbread Extravaganza is on display now through Dec. 19.
There are 13 candied houses to be seen during the exhibit. Judges chose from three categories and made the following awards: In the non-professionals division, Anita Hernandes was first; Irene Lehman, second; and Caroline Fawley, third. In the junior division, first place went to Bethany Ransbottom; second, Gabriella Hernandes; and third, Emily and Nicole Kuhn. In the children's division: Rodrigo Hernandes, first; Clayton Spangle, second; and Saul and Daniel Pedroza, third.
The Old Jail is at 121 N. Indiana St., and is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 269-1078.
