Entries are still being accepted for the 2001 Gingerbread Holiday Extravaganza at the Old Jail Museum, 121 N. Indiana St., Warsaw.
Several entries have already arrived. All entries must arrive at the museum by Saturday at 4 p.m. to qualify for judging.
Creations may be entered in three categories: professional, non-professional and junior.
Sponsored by the Kosciusko County Historical Society, prizes are $50 for first place professional; $50 for first place, $30 for second place and $20 for third place non-professional; and $25 for first place, $15 for second place and $10 for third place junior (ages 15 and younger).
Gingerbread must show somewhere in the creation, also using cookies, crackers, cereal, candy, gum and other sweet stuff.
The sizes must not exceed 24 inches by 24 inches, including the base.
The exhibit is open now through Dec. 27. Museum hours are Thursday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.
