Gina Marie HollingsworthNORTH WEBSTER – Gina Marie Hollingsworth, 54, of Peru, Ind., formerly of North Webster, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at her home.
She was born on Jan. 28, 1967, in Bunker Hill, to David Michael and Peggy M. Hedrick Hollarman.
She graduated in 1985 from North Miami High School and attended Indiana - Purdue University School of Nursing in Fort Wayne. She was married on May 1, 2001, in Warsaw, to Michael O. “Mike” Hollingsworth, who survives. She was a former paramedic with the North Webster EMS and formerly worked at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Miller’s Merry Manor in Columbia City and Courtyard Nursing home in Goshen. She grew up in rural Peru and lived in the North Webster area 28 years before returning to Peru in 2020.
She is survived by husband, Mike Hollingsworth, of North Webster; two daughters: Jessica (Jacob) Hawkins, of Columbia City; and Lauren Smith, of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren: Sawyer and Quinn; mother, Peggy Anderson, of Peru, Ind.; father, David (Judy) Hollarman, of Kokomo; sister, Kelly (Terry) Smith, of Greentown; brother, Michael (Shelly Leonard) Hollarman, of Kokomo.
She was preceded in death by her stepbrother, Larry Aldredge.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29 at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30 in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. Burial will follow in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
