Gertrude Eunice Jamison, 92, of 1630 S. County Farm Rd., Warsaw, died at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 6, 2007, at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was born July 29, 1916, in Kosciusko County, to Raymond and Erbie Weaver Metzger. In 1937, she married Ralph Nichols, who died in 1951. In 1953, she married Deverl Jamison, who died in 1987.

She was a homemaker and worked at Spencer Consulting for 25 years. She was a member of the Home Extension Club, Jolly Good Neighbors and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She attended First Baptist Church, Warsaw.

Surviving are a son, John Nichols, Claypool; a daughter, Mrs. Ron (Cynthia) Hoppas, San Marcos, Calif.; two stepsons, Richard Jamison, Aurora, Ill. and Byron Jamison, Boulder City, Nev.; a sister, Marjorie Cauffman, Claypool; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Batchelder officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Servia.

Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
