SYRACUSE - Gerry H. Bauer, 90, of Syracuse, died at 1:40 p.m. Dec. 30, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse.
He was born Nov. 25, 1917, in Philadelphia, Pa., to John and Anna Robinson. On Nov. 25, 1942, she married Albert J. Bauer II, who died July 19, 1985.
He worked many years in retail in Syracuse and most recently in Syracuse Library. He was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Syracuse.
Surviving are a daughter, Geri (and spouse Frank) Barnes, Linfield, Pa.; two sons, Brad (and spouse Therese) Bauer, Whitefish Bay, Wis., and Al (and spouse Ana) Bauer, Vernon, Conn.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Syracuse, with Father Richard Hire officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, and one half hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
