ROCHESTER – Gerald “Jerry” Leonard Johnson, 71, of Rochester, died at 12:48 p.m. Feb. 16, 2013. He was born April 5, 1941, in Egeland, N.D., to Axel and Lilly Haller Johnson. On July 30, 1965, in Rochester, he married Carolyn Braden, who survives. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served our country during the Vietnam War, stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Also surviving are a son, Roger (and spouse Jennifer) Johnson, Rochester; three daughters, Robin Boyd (and fiancee' Gary Williams), Rochester; Terri (and spouse Bill) Brooks, Wolcott; and Debbie (and spouse Mike) Carman; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jim (and spouse Winette) Johnson, Rochester. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with Pastor Teri White officiating. Burial will be in Richland Center IOOF Cemetery, northwest of Rochester, with military graveside rites by members of Fulton County Military Honor Guard and the U.S. Marine Corps Honors Team.
