ROCHESTER – Gerald Briney, 83, of Rochester, died at 3:10 p.m. Nov. 28, 2012. He was born Dec. 23, 1928, in Fulton County, to Harry and Eva Redman Briney. Surviving are nieces and nephews, including Jack (and spouse Peg) Town, Leesburg; Judy (and spouse Mick) Evans, Marcia Lahman, Karen Miller, Jerry (and spouse Judy) Lewis, Roxann (and spouse Marvin) Murphy, Joyce (and spouse Charlie) Hassenplug, Mike (and spouse Barbara) Briney, Kimberly Briney (and spouse Kevin) Caudill and David Brown, all of Rochester; and Nancy (and spouse Jeff) Tilden, Akron. He was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with Pastor Mike VanHeyningen officiating. Burial will be in Richland Center IOOF Cemetery with military graveside rites by members of Fulton County Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
