Georgia Ann Kreider, 87, Goshen, passed away at 11:49 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at Waterford Crossing.
She was born March 14, 1938, in Mishawaka, to George and Opal Coryell Smith Sr. On Nov. 12, 1966, she married Willis Leroy Kreider, and he passed away on June 20, 2018.
Surviving are a son, Brian L. (Eileen) Kreider, Chicago; two grandchildren, Emily Kreider and Zachary Kreider, Chicago; and three siblings: George (Jane) Smith Jr., Naperville, Ill.; Phyllis Goff, Elkhart; and Mary Hartberger, Springfield, Mo.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Willis Kreider; and siblings: Gene Young, Ray Young, Betty Schaefer and Jane Wood.
Georgia was a secretary, and handled office operations for Spartech, formerly Uniroyal. She was a faithful member of Dutchtown Brethren in Warsaw for over 40 years. Since moving to Goshen in 2008 she attended First Baptist Church, Goshen. She was a graduate of Madison Township High School and enjoyed staying in touch with classmates. Georgia loved quilting, lighthouses, covered bridges and enjoyed traveling.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30 and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, Jan. 31, all at Rieth Rohrer Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Burial will follow at Olive (West) Cemetery. Pastor Gregg Lanzen will officiate.
