ELKHART - George E. Mollenhour, 85, of Elkhart, died at 10:05 p.m. April 1, 2007, in Beverly Living Center, Elkhart.
He was born May 28, 1921, in Mentone, to George E. Sr. and Vera Hardesty Mollenhour. On Dec. 7, 1963, in Elkhart, he married Nancy J. Storm, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Susan Derrill, Bedford, England; a son, Dennis Mollenhour, Atlanta, Ga.; two stepsons, Jack Gall, Hendersonville, N.C., and Andy Gall, Faribault, Minn.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. James (Lana) Feddema, St. Cloud, Minn.; a foster son, Fred Bowlin, Goshen; a foster daughter, Mrs. Jon (Denise) Hagestuen, Hendersonville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, a brother, three sisters and his stepmother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart, with Pastor Mike Weber officiating, and with full military honors by Disabled American Veterans 19. Burial will be in Mentone Cemetery with Army honors.
